Se ha anunciado una edición especial de 30 aniversario de ‘In Utero’ de Nirvana.
El último álbum de estudio de la banda se lanzó el 23 de septiembre de 1993 e incluyó los exitosos sencillos ‘All Apologies’, que se destacó en su actuación en MTV Unplugged el mismo año, y ‘Heart Shaped Box
El 27 de octubre, se lanzará una reedición especial de aniversario de 30 años del álbum icónico de Nirvana, ‘In Utero’, en varios formatos, incluyendo una caja super deluxe con ocho LP, una caja super deluxe con cinco CD, una edición en vinilo + 10 pulgadas, una edición deluxe en dos CD y una edición digital super deluxe. Las tres ediciones super deluxe incluyen un total de 72 pistas, con 53 pistas previamente inéditas.
También incluye dos conciertos completos, incluyendo ‘Live In Los Angeles’ (1993) y la última presentación de la banda en Seattle, ‘Live In Seattle’ (1994), además de seis pistas en vivo adicionales de Roma, Springfield y Nueva York.
El productor y ingeniero de Seattle, Jack Endino, quien produjo el álbum debut de la banda en 1988, ‘Bleach’, ha reconstruido las pistas en vivo a partir de cintas de mesa de sonido estéreo para esta reedición.
Además, las 12 canciones originales de ‘In Utero’, junto con cinco pistas adicionales y lados B, han sido remasterizadas a partir de las cintas máster originales de sonido analógico por Bob Weston en Chicago Mastering Services.
Las ediciones físicas super deluxe también incluyen un panel acrílico desmontable con la icónica figura de ángel del álbum, un libro de tapa dura de 48 páginas con fotos inéditas, un fanzine de 20 páginas de diseño nuevo, un póster litográfico de la gira de Los Ángeles por el artista de hot rod Coop, réplicas del móvil promocional de la tienda de discos de 1993 con la figura de ángel, tres volantes de conciertos, dos entradas para Los Ángeles y Seattle, una credencial de acceso total a la gira y cuatro pases de acceso al backstage de tela.
Este lanzamiento sigue a una reedición especial de su icónico álbum ‘Nevermind’, que se lanzó en 2021.
